Sign Up For Meals - It's Easy!

Meals on Wheels of Greeley and Weld County delivers hot, nutritious meals to eligible adults who have difficulty shopping for or preparing their own food.

Our meals are prepared in the Greeley kitchen and planned with the guidance of a registered dietitian. Each menu is reviewed for important nutrition needs, including calories, carbohydrates, sodium, and overall balance.

In addition to meal delivery, our volunteers provide a friendly visit and a safety check, helping clients stay nourished, connected, and supported at home.

MEAL DELIVERY

When Are Meals Delivered?

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Clients receive meals on a set weekly delivery schedule. A minimum of two delivery days per week is required.

Frozen meals are also available for weekend use.

What Happens During Delivery?

When a volunteer delivers a meal, they also provide a brief, friendly visit and check on the client’s safety and well-being. This daily connection can offer peace of mind for clients, families, and caregivers.

Meals may contain common food allergens, including milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. Please contact us with any food allergy or menu questions before starting meal delivery.

ELIGIBILITY

Who Qualifies for Meals on Wheels?

You may qualify for meal delivery if you meet the following requirements:

  • You are 60 years old or older, or you are under 60 and living with a disability
  • You are homebound or need help leaving your home
  • You are unable to prepare meals because of a physical condition, mental health condition, disability, or recent hospital stay
  • You live within our meal delivery service area

COST

How Much Do Meals Cost?

Meals on Wheels of Greeley and Weld County asks each client to contribute toward the cost of their meals when possible.

The suggested donation amount is based on the client’s monthly income. No one should hesitate to contact us because they are unsure about the cost.
