Join Us on Colorado Gives Day: Deliver More Than Meals to Our Neighbors
Support Meals on Wheels of Greeley & Weld County this Colorado Gives Day and help deliver hot meals, human connection, and hope to homebound neighbors in need.
Delivering Hope, One Meal at a Time
For too many older adults across Greeley and Weld County, the holidays are filled not with joy, but with silence.
Silent nights. Empty tables. Cold days spent alone without the warmth of human connection or a nourishing meal.
At Meals on Wheels of Greeley and Weld County, we’re changing that. And this Colorado Gives Day, you can be part of something powerful: delivering hot meals, compassionate care, and hope–right to our neighbors’ doorsteps.

Caring for Our Community’s Most Vulnerable Neighbors
Our mission is simple yet profound: to serve those unable to prepare meals for themselves by delivering hot, nutritious food through caring volunteers.
In 2024 alone, we:
- Delivered nearly 57,000 meals
- Served more than 500 clients
- Partnered with over 225 volunteers
- Supported residents across 16 Weld County communities, including Greeley, Evans, Windsor, Firestone, and Fort Lupton
Each meal we deliver is more than just food–it’s a connection, a safety check, and a reminder that someone cares.
Rising Demand, Shrinking Support: Why Your Gift is Urgent
The need for Meals on Wheels services is growing at a record pace. Here’s why:
- Older adults are the fastest-growing population in Weld County
- Cuts to SNAP and Medicaid are putting food security at risk
- Government funding hasn’t kept up with rising food costs
- Just 1% of charitable giving in the U.S. goes toward issues affecting older adults.
This winter, too many neighbors are facing hunger, isolation, and declining health. But your support can stop that.
You’re Not Just Giving a Meal—You’re Delivering Hope
When you donate to Meals on Wheels of Greeley & Weld County, you help deliver:
- Nutritious, chef-prepared meals
- Daily wellness checks from trusted volunteers
- Social connection to fight loneliness
- Peace of mind for families and caregivers
Just one gift makes a big difference, guaranteeing that an aging neighbor stays safe, nourished, and cared for.
