More than 48 years of serving meals in Greeley and Weld County Colorado
Meals on Wheels serving Greeley and Weld County Colorado opened for operations on April 1, 1970. A total of 24 meals were delivered by eight volunteers on that day. Mary Margaret Cox was the founding director for over 47 years before she retired in March, 2018.
Today, more than 300 volunteers deliver over 55,000 meals a year to our clients.
Meals on Wheels works with all of the senior agencies and health care agencies in Weld County. We collaborate with health care providers and hospitals that refer patients who require dietary services from Meals on Wheels.
Meals on Wheels serving Greeley and Weld County Colorado delivers nutritional, hot meals Monday thru Friday to clients who cannot prepare meals for themselves. Breakfasts are available. Frozen meals are available for weekend meals.
Nutrious and delicious hot meals are delivered 5 days a week! Prepared in our own Meals on Wheels kitchen. Our menus are created by a licensed dietitian to ensure our clients receive the highest quality meals.
